First Christmas

We celebrated our first Christmas as a married couple in Colorado just the two of us this year. We were very sad that we couldn't spend it with our family in California, but due to work obligations we couldn't fly home. It turned out to be nice just us. On Christmas Eve we went to Zoo Lights at the Denver Zoo, it was a chilly night but we bundled up and had a good time. On Christmas morning, Erin made Jeremy's favorite recipe from his mom a Jewish coffee cake, and Jeremy made a tradition from Erin's house omelets just like her dad always makes on Christmas morning. After that we opened gifts and talked on the phones with our families. Due to being full we decided to take a break from the eating and we went to the movies and saw Marley and Me. The whole theater was laughing and then crying by the end. If you have ever had a bond with a dog this is a must see. That evening we had another feast, this was Erin's first turkey so she kind-of cheated and bought one from Whole Foods that was already cleaned out and just had to be seasoned and cooked. Erin decided that is the way to go from now on! We finished the night with Erin's moms recipe of Pumpkin Dessert. One of our favorites! We had a great Christmas, but next year we are looking forward to spending it with our families also.

Costa Rica

We had a wonderful trip to Costa Rica over Thanksgiving. In fact we had burritos for Thanksgiving dinner! We were able to snorkel, horseback, go boating, visit the volcano, and the hot springs. We saw many monkeys and other exotic animals and birds. It was great to get away and relax. The weather was warm, the beaches were beautiful. The locals were friendly. Erin wanted to stay. She was in no hurry to come back to the cold weather. It was a great trip.

Happy Halloween 80's Style

Jeremy worked about 16 hours on Halloween, however, he was a good sport and got geared out for Halloween. We attended a 80's party with our good friends Russ and Jessica. It was so fun picking out our outfits and getting ready together. Enjoy the pictures!

Should Erin dress up the dog?

Okay okay... Please don't make fun of us! Yes we dress up our dog's for Halloween, or actually Erin does. Don't worry we are planning on starting a family soon and then our poor dogs will not have to go through the "dress up for Halloween to make mommy happy" anymore. But you must admit you enjoy the pictures.

Snowboarding

Last weekend was the opening for a few resorts, so we got out our gear and headed for the slopes with our good friends Max and Carrie. It was packed! However we had a good time, a few falls, and lots of laughs. We were very sore the next day, but Jeremy is ready to get a season pass and Erin is ready to retire to the lodge for the rest of the season! Jeremy thinks Erin needs another snowboarding "lesson" soon!

Nicole Visits Denver

Nicole came and stayed with us for a long weekend, and we enjoyed having her! It was a very busy weekend with lots of plans! However, we didn't have the chance to take her to the mountains, so we are hoping she will be back soon or even better move here!

Jeremy Turns 30

Jeremy turned 30 a couple of weeks ago and Erin had a party for him! We had about 50 people in our little Bungalow. It was great time, and everyone enjoyed the party. Here are a few pictures to check out the fun!
